The first time I tried reading this book, I DNF’d it just after 100 pages because I got bored.

But I kept the book because . . . I don’t know why, really. I’m glad I did, though. Because now I’m certain that, the reason I DNF’d this the first time is because I simply wasn’t in the mood for it two years ago.

Probably because the hype was (and still is, tbh) too high, and I had it built up in my head because of it, so I think I went in thinking the worst and by Page 100, my low expectations seemed ...more

its hard to rate a book you dnf-ed. I am on the fence on finishing the book likewise continuing with the rest of the series.

I was on the fence of finishing the book previously, because I find it really uninterested and bored with the format the book was written. However, the audiobook was different. It was very very good. It keep me on end edge, and the effects was stellar. The plot made more sense to me when listening to the audiobook.

I have a Gemina buddy read coming up so I decided to re-read the first book. I chose to pick the audiobook this time and LOVED it. If you didn't know it is a full case audiobook and my first one at that.
