Finally finished this book. It was so long, 531 pages. It wasn't a bad book. It was a bit hard to stick with because it kept changing character perspective as well as the points in time. It really highlights the terrible impact that war can have on peoples lives. There aren't any characters that came out of this without some mental scars, even the ones that never actually went to war. It is a sad book, but still an interesting read. ...more
