Well, it certainly wasn't the worst book I've ever read, but I really hope not to slog through anything quite this trivial anytime soon. The first line is wonderful and so iconic (“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”) and yet I found myself looking forward to the last line.
