I loved this book. Diamant writes with a an ease and creates a rich tapestry of the celebration of women like I've never read before. I connected with the main character for whom this book was written about and is told through her voice, Dinah. I am not a scholar of the Bible, nor have I read it, but you really don't need to since this is very loosely based on the sons, wives and daughter (Dinah) of Jacob, son of Isaac.
