I read this book years and years and years ago while I was barely out of high school. It really was one of my first dystopian/utopian stories next to The Time Machine. There just wasn't much in that genre back then. I loved the whole idea of this peek at the future of our society.

Flash forward some 1000 books and 30 + years later and I do not feel quite the same way I once did about this read. I found the writing to be disjointed and clunky in many places. Although I listened as an audio, Micha ...more
