Easy read for quite an emotive topic. I struggled at the start as it was so evidently an adult trying to write from the perspective of an adolescent, so the language was a bit off. But once I got over that I did enjoy the story. I was able to relate to certain parts of the story on a personal level, it did bring back certain memories. Overall it was a good book and I passed it on to my friend for an easy holiday read.
