I just finished reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. The protagonist of the novel is Charlie who is just starting High School and starts writing letters to an unknown person, who happens to be a good person. He is nervous about his first year in high school and wants someone to confide in, but doesn’t want his identity to be found out because he writes about his friend’s secrets and his own secrets, so he makes up everyones names in the letters to this unknown good person

to tell you the truth i liked the book till it got a quarter of the way through then it got really depressive and sad this is the first depressive book you think depressive is like a little bit sad and emotional but that description does not fit this book this book was extremely depressive the character charlie is not noticed at all he then met two upperclassmen who sort of bring him under their wings helping him be more active in high school inviting him to parties helping him make new friends
