I didn't like the ending, I thought it was a little cheesy and obvious, although in the 1990s it might have come across as brilliantly shocking. A reasonable facsimile of Salinger though, so four stars. ...more

Don't know why this took me so long to read, I was really enjoying it, school's taken over I suppose. But OMG this was amazing. This book basically deals with anything and everything teenagers can possibly go through. I thought Charlie was a really cute character and his crush on Sam was just constantly one of those"awwwwww" moments. I loved Patrick as well. I just, I loved it all. The only reason it's 4 star is because it took me ages to read:( I have to see the film, like now. ...more
