I just wish it did not take me so long to get to this. It is so cool and interesting. Like a window into this super interesting Roman world.
So, this translation was in prose ; I will probably look one up in verses as well. The narration feels somehow very ... non-ancient. For my taste, too much fighting and battles descriptions.
