This is a very good book. Robbie Jordan, a cook, is opening a country store/restaurant named Pans 'n Pancakes in her mother's hometown of South Lick, Indiana. Although Robbie grew up in California, she has moved to Indiana to be near her aunt now that her mother has passed away. Robbie is enjoying the slower pace of life and has worked hard to get the building and restaurant ready to open and now the time has arrived.
