Lana is surprised when her parents decide to go to Taiwan to visit her grandmother and put her in charge of the Ho-Lee Noodle House. Right after Lana takes her parents to the airport she finds out that two people are dead in the souvenir shop next door. One of them was Lana's new friend Isabelle. Lana decides to do a little investigating into the deaths without telling Detective Trudeau, and finds some contradicting information. This was a good mystery with several suspects.

I really enjoyed this second book and that it took place during the Lunar New Year.
