This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was the perfect time to read it because it takes place over Halloween and Thanksgiving. I loved the small town library setting and reading about the different programs that were being held at the library, and the ones that Carrie is planning for the future. I liked the characters, especially Evelyn, and felt that the story progressed at a good pace. The addition of Smoky Joe was great too! I'm looking forward to r
