What a charming addition to the series!
I absolutely loved getting reacquainted with Anne, Gilbert and their family. It's hard to believe Anne is a mother of six now, but at the same time, I couldn't imagine her as anything else because she is such a sweet mother. The way she is such a natural nurturer, and the way she helped foster their imaginations just melted my heart. My heart felt so full reading about Anne's delightful family and I fell in love with all of her children.

I so enjoyed reading this book again after such a long break. A wonderful set of characters - as always - and each of Anne's children are delightful in their own way in spite of - or really it would be more correct to say because of - their individual foibles. And L.M. Montgomery's books are so wholesome and just an absolute pleasure to read. I don't think you could ever go wrong if you decide to read one of her works. ...more

Read (again) Popsugar 2020 book with four star rating ( true at time of writing).
I read it yet again for the reddit redux: listen to an audio book ( i don't count audio books which is why I haven't added a 2022 date)
This is a great book for Anne fans (but if you haven't read the over books its not a good one to begin with). It starts with a cherished scene for Anne and Diana and concludes with a scene around Anne considering her married life. In between we get a string of humorous episodes and ...more
