What a beautiful novel!
It is almost strange to see our Anne all grown up, married and now even a mother. What a bittersweet feeling as we see her enter a new chapter in her life. But how sweet the sweet moments were!
The highly-anticipated marriage to Gilbert unfolded on the pages of this novel, and it was just so perfect. From enemies to friends to lovers, they are finally together; to the joy of my romantic heart.

I read these the first time pre-Goodreads. It's wonderful to be revisiting Anne, this time on audiobook. The stories, setting, and characters are just delightful.

It is often the case that as a series gets longer the quality becomes poorer. This is not the case with the 'Anne' books. In 'Anne's House of Dreams' descriptions of the countryside remain as detailed and beautiful as ever. The story line is full of intrigue and interest making it hard at times to put the book down and it contains a range of wonderful characters, some complex, many lovable and as always there is an element of humour. A thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying read.
