This book is the second novel in the blockbuster series, “Percy Jackson”. The main theme is friendship, as Percy risks his life to save his friends. In this story, the camp's magical borders are failing, and a quest must be undergone to save the camp before the demigods lose the only safe haven they have ever known. I would have been more excited had I read it as a kid or in my early teens, but it was a nice and easy read to get through even as an adult
