What Members Thought

This is very good fantasy and I am enjoying it. This is the second book I've read with these characters. I first read Fool's Errand. I am really glad I started where I did even though it was further along in the overall story. I became very fond of the main character Fitz Civalry as an adult. In reading this one next I got to see where it all began and how Fitz came to be who and what he is. I'm not sure I would have had as much feeling for Fitz had I not met him as an adult.

This is a new to me author it did take a while for me to get in to this book but I did enjoy it .
I enjoyed the characters and the storyline and I didn't relise what was going to happen looking forward to reading the second book and carrying on with this series want to know what happens to the characters next. ...more

Glad I decided to reread this before moving on. There was definitely a good bit I didn't remember, and apparently a few things I had totally wrong in my head, ie thinking the Fool was an old fat man. 😅

The beginning of a nice fantasy trilogy. Young orphan tries to find his place in the world while struggling with hidden powers.

Love Robin Hobb. i have read this before but the audio book is a great.

I'm glad I finally decided to pick up a Robin Hobb book. This was so good. I found a lot of typos, however, but I wonder if something gets messed up when they convert it over to Nook?
