This is such a well-researched book! The book length is shown at like 500 pages, but about half of that is references at the end of the book. I thought I had a long way to go in reading, but at about the 50% mark on my Kindle, I was done.

Horrifying yet enlightening. I learned a lot I didn't know but I did have a problem with the organization of the book.

This is a hard read with lots of violence, but it's such an important story about how the Grand Dragon of the KKK essentially played god and the woman who brought his atrocities to light. Important also in showing how long the systemic problems in Indiana lasted even after his rule.
