This book has kept me on my toes the whole time. There is so much going on in here. I was on an emotional Rollercoaster the whole time! The ending had me crying. Liam dies after protecting Violet one more time! Then when she got stabbed it was like no she has worked so hard to be there and she is going to die trying to save her friends. Then the ending really had me stumped. If her brother is alive how did the other not know he was? His dragon should have know at least. So many questions!
This book grabbed me pretty quickly and wouldn't let me go until I turned the final page. I loved watching Violet grow more and more confident the longer she survived at Basgiath. Violet learned to trust her own instincts and realized that she was much stronger than anyone had ever given her credit for. The explosive chemistry between Violet and Xaden was wonderful to watch and felt perfectly paced. Violet's connection with her dragons was definitely my favorite part of the book - particularly w
