Oh how I loved, loved, loved this book! It has everything I adore in a book...great storyline, characters so real they walk right off the page, lovely writing, page turner!

Salvation of any stripe is a matter of degrees.
Like most people, denying it never got in the way of relying on it. (God)
Animals know the secret to life. They're compete all on their own, living by voices we don't get to hear, having a knowing far beyond our paltry ken.
Things didn't feel right, as if yesterday wasn't finished with us even with a new dawn on its way.
