I read this as part of a GR challenge. I do not read horror. I do not like violence just to make a plot work, which is usually true of horror genre. I was surprised that I liked this book. Everything was such a mess in the story and I couldn't imagine how there could be an ending that would work. Hendrix did it. (view spoiler)
