My heart is a bloody heap on the floor, a gaping hole left in my chest I have no clue how to nurse for.
Even though you know there’s tragedy on the horizon, a sense of heartbreak looming all the while, this story just keeps luring you to make it to the finish line with its beautiful world-building and defined characters.

This book was fantastic and clever. This is the first book I've read by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and she is a phenomenal writer. The characters are complex and I although extremely frustrating, they are realistic. There are so many secrets that unfold throughout the storytelling from Evelyn, and everything detail has some kind of meaning.
I really enjoyed reading this book, and definitely recommend it to anyone. I'll definitely be reading more books by Reid in the near future. ...more

Absolutely brilliant!
This book centered on Monique Grant interviewing the ever-famous Hollywood star Evelyn Hugo. It’s my first book to read of TJR and I loved every moment of it. It really makes you think about how we never really know someone for who they truly are. It is definitely a page-turner.
I’m rating it a 4.6 out of 5.
