This is the most fun I have had reading for a while. The dialogue was enjoyable, the locations were nicely described, and the characters seemed real, Elizabeth frightened me a little. So smart. I am looking forward to the next in the series, but I think I'll put a few books ahead of it.

This book was chosen by one of my book clubs and is being adapted into a movie which comes out soon. So I finished it just in time to read then watch while it's still fresh in my mind. It was good and entertaining but there were A LOT of characters and storylines to keep track of. The story takes place mostly at a retirement community and has a bunch of elderly residents trying to help the police figure out whodunnit when a murder takes place right nearby their community. It took many pages before I became involved with this book. Lots of twists and turns in this story, many of which I did not see coming. I do plan to read the next book in the series.
