Another book I deleted by Mistake. This was one of my favorite books for 2022. I loved Elizabeth and her ability to just be herself. She refuses to compromise her intelligence or talk down to other women.

I was really surprised by the content of this book. It is historical fiction. The story took place in the late 1950s and early 1960s. But it doesn't feel like the 1960s were that long ago. And I couldn't figure out how Bonnie Garmus knew how I feel about relationships between men and women, religion, gender roles, early childhood education, sports. The list goes on.

Such a great book! It took me through all the range of emotions, which surprised me. In the beginning I thought it was going to a little fluff, fun novel, but it was much more than that. The author did a wonderful job with the characters and it was fun to watch them develop in the story. It has gotten so much hype and

One of the best books I read this year!! I loved Elizabeth and Madeline. Elizabeth was such a badass and her daughter Madeline, if I can pull a reference directly from the book, is proof that the acorn doesn’t fall far from the oak.
Some of the plot was a little convenient but it didn’t bother me one bit. 10/10 recommend

Loved this one and it truly lived up to the hype!! Loved the characters, yes, including Six-thirty!! You kind of know the plot but I really liked how it came together.

Read this by the audio format-absolutely didn't like the overall performance. It was hard to follow, so I think I will try re-reading it on kindle and see if that changes my rating. Story-wise, it was decent, but not ground breaking. I say this on a personal stand point due to the fact I don't agree with some troupes highlighted or mentioned in this story. I am not by any means a feminist, and this is very much that kind of book. Politics this heavy in content in the story, I think should stay o
