This book was so much more than its cute cover might have you believe. It's a bit far-fetched at times, but I really didn't care. Elizabeth Zott was ahead of her time, but it makes for a great story.

Such a great book! It took me through all the range of emotions, which surprised me. In the beginning I thought it was going to a little fluff, fun novel, but it was much more than that. The author did a wonderful job with the characters and it was fun to watch them develop in the story. The story tells of her twists and turns of navigating this reality in what appears to be the late 50’s/early 60’s. With her perseverance and unflappable demeanor you can’t help but root for her. O
