Wow! What a great story! Loved it!
Fairly decent story. I had no idea who entered Ben's apartment in the beginning. It does keep you guessing. Everyone has a reason for not liking him, to straight hating him. I didn't like him either as the story of his involvement at the apartments unfolds. Actually that is the problem. I really disliked all the characters in this. Just...eww... Not people I would ever want to hang out with. Not a one. So that makes it hard to get into it. That and the Soap Opera feel it had to it. I wanted more

Jess needs a fresh start. She’s broke and alone, and she’s just left her job under less than ideal circumstances. Her half-brother Ben didn’t sound thrilled when she asked if she could crash with him for a bit, but he didn’t say no, and surely everything will look better from Paris. Not sure what to think and don’t want to list any spoilers but good mystery with lots of twists and turns just not the kind I enjoy.

Good opening and premise, but it quickly got boring after that. No suspense and a lot of the same, just Jess wandering around from here to there. Things picked up toward the end, but it wasn’t enough to make me forget the boredom of the previous 200 pages.

I am loving Lucy Foley. The Paris Apartment had me from page one. The characters were so well developed and the mystery had so many delicious twists and turns, I for one, couldn’t figure it out until the very end. Calling all mystery lovers, this novel is for you.
my audiobook kept stopping. I'll read this physically.
