What Members Thought
Yes, the book is overly sentimental to the point where I could guess most of the plot. It wasn’t surprising, but it was very touching. I especially liked at the end of the book that the author gave real life examples of ‘Forgers’ who made documents that saved lived. She gave several non-fiction books to read if interested.
Loved this!!! Beautiful captivating heart wrenching story. Reminds me of one of my all time favs The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. Similar writing style, very engaging.
Poorly written. Not very bright main character, though talented in art. "you've got to be kidding me" is the most I had to say about this book. No character development. Unbelievable events. How did this win an award on Goodreads? I'm flabbergasted. Actually, I take that back I'm beginning to learn that awards at Goodread do not meet the standard of really good literature but pop chick lit stuff.
