My favorite audiobook this year.

Last night I was listening to this story as I was sitting at my desk, with my little lamp doing artwork. I was so intent on my audiobook that when I heard the dogs bark, I looked up. I was sitting in a completely darkened house and never noticed.

Now that’s why I read books.

Disclaimer: This is my opinion. I know that everyone loves this work and this author; I liked the Sun Down Motel, too.

This was like a repeat of The Sun Down Motel for me, but blander. The MC Shea is obsessive about serial killers, true crime, etc. She was traumatized by a predator, so I get where some of that comes from, but she irritated me to no end, because who are you??
