My favorite audiobook this year.
Last night I was listening to this story as I was sitting at my desk, with my little lamp doing artwork. I was so intent on my audiobook that when I heard the dogs bark, I looked up. I was sitting in a completely darkened house and never noticed.

This was a good thriller and I enjoyed the characters and setting. I didn't feel the ghost story aspect added to the story really and preferred the dysfunctional family, damaged main characters, crime aspect.

Wow, I thought this book was amazing. Once I got started it was hard to put down. I loved the characters and the plot. I thought Shea and Beth were great main characters and how their characters interacted with each other. Plus the side characters were just as interesting and you start to like or hate them through out the book. I also love how Simone St James can write a duel timeline. I love how the past and present weaved together to tell the story. I also love how she has a hint of paranormal

A woman who blogs about cold cases gets the interview of her dreams. Is she interviewing a serial killer or is this all something else? This one was spooky but in a good way.
