Unsolved murders and mysteries crossing decades intrigue a determined true crime researcher. When a chance encounter opens up a possible interview with a notorious woman acquitted forty years earlier of an unsolved case; there is a lot unexplained and suspicious to uncover. The Book of Cold Cases is another great read from Simone St. James, the author of the Sun Down Motel. I don’t typically like to read books that jump around in time, but St. James does such a good job of keeping everything straight that it was easy to follow. I also enjoy that her books are spooky without being so scary that I can’t sleep after reading them. Fans of St. James will definitely want to add The Book of Cold Cases to their list.
