Knjiga deluje kot dober uvod v nadaljnje fantazijske pustolovščine zelo znanega The Witcherja, zna pa bralca zmesti, saj se dogajanje ves čas seli v času in prostoru. Zlasti mi je bila všeč zmes slovanske mitologije in pravljičnih elementov.
Vsekakor bom z veseljem brala serijo še naprej.

Brala sem jo čisto predolgo, da bi ji dala povprečne 3 zvezdice. Ni slaba, me pa več kot očitno ni prepričala z liki in dogajanjem. Mogoče bi bila bolj navdušena, če bi pred branjem gledala serijo.
Dober tempo in povečini tudi akcija, zelo dobro vzpostavljen svet in krasen preplet mitologije. Bonus: humor.
Poslušala sem jo kot zvočnico in zraven se nemalokrat od srca nasmejala. Grobost glavnega junaka, predvsem njegovega humorja, brutalnost in iskrenost se mi je zdela osvežujoča. Predstavljam si, da bi tako zvenelo večino moškim, ko bi jim lahko brali misli. Osvežujoče in drugačno branje.
This was fun. I didn't know Sapkowski had such a great sense of humor. I loved the fairytale elements in the separate stories and the old curse words that were used ;D. Especially the story The edge of the world with the ''deovel'', had me chuckle quite a few times.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
