This is a great book, one of the best I’ve read! Henry Krakow is a lawyer with a moral compass, trying to find a way to help a client, save a nanny, hold onto his marriage and family, while fighting corruption, mobsters, and a disturbing legacy from his father. This is a riveting novel, filled with action and intrigue. I loved the wittiness of the narrative and the author’s way of weaving many layers together to bring it all together with a bang. A highly recommended read.

David Shawn Klein's second novel, "And The Dead Shall Live" blew me away--I knew I had to go back and read his first.
"The Money" lives up to its hype as the best thriller of the year!
Lawyer Henry Krakow's motives couldn't be more pure. But back him into a corner and he's willing to break all the rules to ensure the ends justify the means. Klein delivers a tragically comic, New York crime noir with characters ranging from his sex-worker nanny, to a down-and-out rapper bent on revenge.
