I honestly want to give this 1.5 stars… I listened to it as an audiobook and found myself rewinding over and over again because it was hard to understand. It’s also about covid which I hate reliving. Overall, it was strange and I didn’t understand the point? Will be fun for the Readheads podcast episode.

I don’t even know what to say about this book because I still feel like I don’t understand anything that happened in it. Despite the writing being very descriptive I found it incredibly confusing especially with all the characters in the book. It was incredibly hard to keep track of everyone and the transitions between points of view weren’t explicitly stated. I really disliked this book and didn’t see a purpose or intentional plot line throughout. I really dreaded picking this book up to read. ...more

1.75 ⭐️Really have no idea what I read? Gave off klara and the sun vibes. I found this very difficult to read, sometimes I had to go a few pages back and I looked up the definition of Atleast 5 words a chapter. I think I missed the point of this book being a “satire”. Definitely not a fan, but will be a fun book club discussion.
