This book perfectly captures the essence of an Irish family and it's values, hard work, loyalty, and protection. This also means that family secrets, and even trauma are often swept under the rug. I enjoyed reading through the process Sunday Brennan's growth along with her brothers and Kale. I was rooting for them. To be sentimental, each character reminded me of my own Irish family . To be a complete pop culture connoisseur, this story line and the characters reminded me of the Virgin River Net ...more
