What Members Thought
I've finally had some time to sit down and reflect on this book. I wanted so badly for it to be a full five star read, one that I could talk about for years. Sadly, it wasn't. There are parts of the books that truly were beautiful, and the writing was superb. What killed the vibe for me was Henry's story. That could have been a few pages, and it would have been fine. Captivating from the beginning, with a slight twist at the end!
3.25/3.5 - This book was praised by so many I know and follow as a favorite. I had high hopes and couldn’t wait to start it! While it picked up toward the last quarter of the book, and although I did really enjoy the concept of the plot, the book fell a bit short for me, particularly in its characters which I found to be more flat than what I would have wanted to see.

This was one of my most anticipated reads because of all the hype it got and I feel let down. It was good but not great. I don’t get the hype 🤷🏼♀️
