I wish I'd loved this one. I've found other stories by this author to be an interesting because the site itself was just as much a part of the story as the characters. But I didn't find that to be for this one. I thought I'd be sucked in to a story about the Rockettes and the life of dancing and performing. Instead, I found this to be a story about a multiple year search for a bomber.
I had hoped to be drawn in more and love the story, the site, and the dancers more but I just didn't feel drawn ...more

This was my first book by Fiona Davis and definitely wont be my last. I loved the setting, Radio City music hall. While I have never seen the Rockettes, I am fascinated by all things dance and getting a look into the history of this place was a great time for me. It was a time when women were expected to be a nurse, teacher, secretary or stay home and have babies. I was so disappointed by this book. I've enjoyed some of Davis' previous work, which always centers an iconic NYC building.

This time, however, the building barely played into the story. Mostly, the story revolved around a bomber who spent some 15+ years planting bombs around NYC. We got some brief history and fun facts about the Rockettes. It was hard to be invested in the main characters because so much of the story felt disjointed.
