A wonderfully touching story about female friendships but also the control of a government and the change of rule. What a slippery slope rights are.
I loved the story of Homa and Ellie. I didn't always love each of them - they made their choices - but oh how I loved how they were with and to each other. I also really appreciated learning more about their country and the regime - the rule, the jailings, the frightening abuses.
