One for the money By Janet Evanovich is the first Stephanie Plum book and is the first Audible book that I have tried. It introduces us to Stephanie who, needing money and a job, starts working as a bounty hunter for her cousin Vinnie. A very funny and enjoyable book with great characters and I especially loved getting to know Stephanie, a smart, plucky heroine who is able to deal with everything thrown at her. **Short Review**

Okay so after reading like 5 books of Stephanie Plum, my hold for the VERY FIRST ONE finally came so i read it :D

Only issue, i was bored, i already knew all the background from the other books so i wasn't interested in just a longer version of these.

I did enjoy her and Morelli as kids/teens thou, that was a nice touch for sure. I wanted more Ranger but i knew that he would come later since she only meet him after doing bounty hunting so of course he wouldn't be in her early life ...more

My mother has been recommending this series to me for years. I've been offline, with no computer and no kindle for the better part of 3 weeks, so when I happened to find a used copy for sale, if figured I'd give it a shot. Yeah, don't tell her, but she's right, I enjoyed it. She's usually right, but don't want her to get a fat head or anything.
