Isolated house on the beach. Emma is house-sitting with her dog Laika, spending her time reading thrillers. Then she leaves a review that does not please the author. Book is told from Emma's and the author's POV's.

Well… in my opinion Taylor Adams does it again!!!

I was clicked in for every turn and scare through the course of this written ride. We live I n a world where we all feel free to say whatever they think online with no chance of consequences , but what happens when a bad review of a book could cause you more than you ever thought?

One of the best reads I’ve had this year! Insanely suspenseful full of twist you don’t see coming with dual narratives both telling their story. It’s brilliant a fan of no exit this book is even better. Hands down one of the best thrillers I’ve honestly read!
