This is another book where the premise and the idea sound great, but the story doesn’t live up to the promise. The world building is a bit wishy-washy. The characters are very one-dimensional, and the lead is quite lacking. I will try the next (partly as I already downloaded it), as there is something in there that is still intriguing, and I’m hoping the sequel is better!
4.5⭐️ this book was a good surprise for me as I didn’t expect liking it… now I want to finds this series… love this main male character… added to my favs list :)
Really enjoyed this, maybe I should go back and read Caraval for all the references they were making that I didn’t understand 😊
