This is my favorite book of the series - most have been somewhat lackluster for me so far. Clay Tahoma moves to VR to work with veterinarian Nate, and his horse facility. Clay has a way with horses, and he discovers Lilly Yazhi, who delivers feed, does as well. Although Lilly is attracted to Clay, she's reluctant to get involved with anyone - especially another Native American male. I liked how their relationship progressed despite their pasts.
