Meh.
Slow beginning, boring characters, boring mystery, nonexistent thriller.
The cover - gorgeous and 100% clickbait-y.

Hurt how anti-climatic the ending was. The ''mystery'' starts after 100 pages, and the chapter jump between the present and past adds little to the story. There is not one single character that makes sense or is likable. The plot twist was (view spoiler) like wtf did I just read?

Shelves: ya-mystery

This was a fun read. The summer camp setting was great and it kind of felt real, made me believe that I was there. I didn't see a lot of the twists in this one coming which was nice as I usually can see the twists coming in most mystery/thrillers. Goldie was a good protagonist and her friendship with Ava and Imogen was done well, even if it was slightly messy with all the secrets they were keeping from each other. My only cons were I wish that we got to see more of Heller and Goldie's relationsh ...more
