Shatter Me has been on my TBR list since May of last year, if we are honest, probably even longer. I have heard such great things about this series I finally caved and read all the books and novellas.
I was intrigued from the beginning when Tahereh explains in the author's note that the strikethroughs, the repetitive thoughts, and the different font. To be fair, I listened to the audiobook, and I did not care for the reader. That aside, I thought the pacing of this book was weird. Maybe I missed it, but when I read dystopian, I’d like some background on how the world works. There was more focus on the relationship and less on the dystopian society or the powers they characters have. The writing was also very poetic, so if that’s not your thing, you may not like it.

I went into this book wanting so much more from it but, it's still a really great book. I'm not sure how much I like Juliette yet but, I have a soft spot for Warner even though he's not the good guy. I don't trust Adam all to well yet so, we will see what happens in the next book!

I know there’s a lot of hype and mixed reviews on this. Finally a “hyped” book worked for me! I really enjoyed this. It’s very dark, but I love Juliette’s voice, messed up as it is. Couldn’t put it down.
Usually I dont read books that are overly talked about but Shatter Me proved me wrong when I feel in love with Juliet and her ramblings about being insane. I'm not Insane!
