Shelves: genre-scifi-dystopian, 0part-of-a-series, 301-400-pages

So apparently I didn't like this at all when I listened to it based on that review. lol Which is weird, because I remembered a bit of it, but I liked it so much most this time. Maybe because I enjoyed the edits, etc with the texts striked though or the repeating words made more sense seeing them. I don't know. But I'm bumping it from 2 to 4 stars.

I came back to this one and gave it another chance after hearing about how amazing the romance between Juliette and Warner is in the rest of the series ...more

I liked it. There was a little too much swearing for my personal tastes and I'm not a huge fan of the romance, but I still liked this book. It was a really interesting story and I'm glad it didn't end with a huge cliffhanger. ...more

I'm not sure how I missed this series back in the heyday of YA dystopia, but I'm sure glad that BookTok brought it to my attention now! The world is interesting, the MC has the potential to grow immensely, and there are a few romantic possibilities that I'm excited to see play out. ...more
