What Members Thought
I really enjoyed this Who Dunnit featuring strange, sweet Molly. You can feel what she’s going through every step of the way, as it’s told through her point of view. I actually felt like she was a strange new friend by the end of the book. It’s creepy, funny, suspenseful and sweet. I loved Molly’s band of friends. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for generously providing me with a free copy. 4 1/2 stars! Well done!
Molly Maid, a hotel maid at the Regency Grand Hotel, finds the body of one of their prominant guests dead in his room and becomes a suspect in the police investigation. Molly is a complex character, rather naive and slow, with difficulty interpreting social situations. She is passionate about her work and cleaning. I found her rather irritating especially at the start. The book did pick up towards the end when the doorman Mr. Preston starts to help her but overall I felt the book was rather repe
