The Maid is a novel about an eccentric maid named Molly who works at a prestigious hotel as a maid. She is a young woman depicted as being neurodivergent, she doesn’t seem to understand the way most people live their lives, and acts with an almost child like innocence. She lived with her Grandmother, referred to as Gran, until recently when her Gran passed away from an illness.
