Some random thoughts:
Molly is definitely not an autism case that the author presents us with but rather a sort of arrested development. This could stem from mother using drugs when pregnant which, incidentally, is mentioned a bit further into the book. These deficiencies could be overcome fully... or not. It usually depends on particular cases and what care they have had. I know of some similar RL cases where the kid did a full recovery growing into a rather shrewdsy adult. 4 stars. Super addictive read. I picked it up and I could not put my kindle down until I finished it. I was hooked from page one. It’s a very fun and light mystery which I wasn’t expecting but definitely enjoyed.

Molly, a neurodivergent maid, finds the rich and mean Mr. Black dead in his bed. It turns out he was murdered. And Molly ends up under suspicion for his murder. But some of the people at the hotel are not who they seem. And they may have used Molly's neurodivergence to their advantage.
