The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman is the 2nd book in the Thursday Murder Club Mystery series. Elizabeth receives a letter for her exhusband and secret service colleage enlisting her help to protect him from a mobster from whom he had stolen some diamonds. A brilliant installment in the series where we catch up with the members of the Thursday Murder Club. Better written than the first book but lacks the twists and turns.

Even though I gave the first book in this series a low review, I still wanted to go ahead and read the second book. I had already bought it before I started the first book and this one has a higher rating. I’m hoping that since reading the first book, I will have better luck with the numerous characters that are present and enjoy this book a lot more.

This sequel to the Thursday Murder Club does not disappoint! The seniors are back again to solve a new mystery. I absolutely love the humor and friendship that permeate this mystery series and can't wait until the next! I hope there are many, many more books to come! ...more

4 stars, I love this series and these characters. I have done the audio book and the narrator is amazing, I am really excited that there will be more of these! Suspension of disbelief, but too fun and sometimes sad but sweet and fun
