Oh man this book took me forever to get through mainly because of the length but I liked it. It's not a typical King or at least it's not the horror book that one expects from him. Instead this one has to do with time travel and also has a very well written romance at the heart of it too. I loved that aspect of it. Better known for his horror novels, I never thought I would read a Stephen King novel but then he had fantasy novels which I have tried and enjoyed. I DID IT !!!
It was such an experience. This book is huge! It was worth it. I took my time by reading a chapter each day (well trying to read a chapter each day) it took me less than a month to do it. I'm looking forward to watch the tv show. Also now i'm less scared of Stephen King! I had a hard time with some of his other books... ...more

Taking on this book was quite an endeavor, but I'm glad I finished it and overall thought it was a good read. The middle part dragged for me and for such a long book, I wasn't that satisfied with the ending. I would like to give it 4 stars, but 3.5 is the highest rating I can give and it mostly is awarded that for the writing quality. The concept of the novel was wonderful and of high interest to me. Wow, Stephen King can rock sci-fi and speculative sci-fi like a boss!!
A great story. It makes you really wonder what would happen if a major event in the past could be changed.
Definitely a great read though I must say there were better opportunities for the ending then what there was.
