I loved everything about Noah & Ellie's friendship turned romance.

Noah was a breath of fresh air. From the moment I met him I was head over heels. The same can be said for Ellie. They were just perfect.

Yes, he was a bit judgmental of Ellie just from her appearance, but I really think it had more to do with his sexual attraction to her, and what he thought a preacher's assistant should look like. He quickly got past his stupidity and took the time to actually talk to her and get to know her.

I'm not sure why I keep reading this series - I read Thunder Point first, and really like it. This series has just been okay - I guess I keep hoping they'll get better? Not happening yet. This was probably my least favorite so far. Noah Kincaid buys the old, abandoned church in Virgin River with plans to restore it and open it back up. He hires former dancer Alicia Baldwin as his assistant. Alicia has been fighting her ex-husband for custody of her kids and Noah ends up crusading for her. There ...more

This was a great story. It mostly focused on Ellie and Noah and less on the other characters in Virgin River unlike other books in this series. I loved how the town rallied to support Ellie.

This was a great installment. One of my favorites so far because it really told a story of Ellie and Noah as if it were a stand alone. Although I usually miss Mel & Jack, this story definitely held its own. I will say that I wasn’t expecting it to be so steamy. Whoa! 4 1/2 stars.
