It's been ages since I read this book for the first time, and watching Bridgerton made me want to go back and give the entire series a reread.

I still enjoyed this story just as much as the time before. I completely forgot how funny the banter between Daphne and Simone was before things got real with the marriage and the omission of the facts of baby making.

The added bonus here was the 2nd epilogue, which I have separately, but this edition already had it for me to enjoy at the end of the book. ...more

This is the first book in the Brigerton series, which has recently been made very popular by Netflix. In my opinion as usual the book was so much better than the programme.

This regency romance is set in London and it's hunting season, as Mothers look for an eligible husband for their daughters. I absolutely love the characters in this series and can't wait to read all their stories. This book is based on Daphne Bridgerton, she is the fourth of eight siblings.
